11:00 p.m.

Ahh, drawing. I couldn’t help but draw an old corded telephone for the “magenta” sketch prompt on the night of my Class of ‘97 reunion. (“Once a Hawk, always a Hawk” right, B? Happy Anniversary, lady.) I’m going to color it before I post the final sketch.

I’m tired and getting ready for bed now. Thanks for sending in photos! That was really fun and it helped me keep a healthy perspective on my day. Truthfully, I have been dreading this day for a long time. That might sound funny because I really enjoy my kids and I think they’re awesome (they are so much better than me). But the weeks have been so long and looking ahead to this particular Saturday alone… well.

Thankfully, I realized the other day that Sunday comes after Saturday. The world would not end today. Smiled about that.

In fact, this little photo sharing piece of the day helped me appreciate all of the bits of life more than I would have otherwise. All of the spills… I mean, I took those in STRIDE today. You better believe it. (Some day maybe I’ll do a blog project where I post a photo of every single spill I clean up in a day… no wonder we never have any clean towels!)

Until then… peace. :)
